Police Sketch

All we know for sure is that the thief in this police sketch has a nose, some hair and a chin that be chinning. Believe it or not, the design depicted on this hat was jarringly similar to the suspect that was eventually arrested!

On Jan. 30, 2013, Jocelyn Park stopped to buy a dozen eggs from her favorite stand. Behind the counter was a very sketchy, clearly homeless man clutching a wad of cash. After unsuccessfully trying to stop the crazed man from fleeing, she called 911 and reported the crime.⁠

The Lancaster resident — a graphic designer who also holds a pair of art degrees - sketched out this graphic to help police find the suspect which ended up going viral for how "amateur" it looked.⁠

Much to the chagrin of the haters, the sketch ended up helping Lancaster PD find and arrest the suspect.⁠
